Speedo Mick is on his way to Lands End

The always swimwear-clad Speedo Mick is on his way to Lands End from Porthleven today, for the final southerly-bound stretch of his mega walk across the country.

Speedo Mick arrived in a very windy Porthleven on Sunday (September 26),

"My feet are absolutely killing me," he said, speaking in a video posted to his social media on Sunday.

"I'm in Porthleven, I'm not looking forward to the walk tomorrow as my right foot is killing.

"We made it to the next destination, that's 20 miles knocked off. After that I'm heading home.

"Thanks for your support everyone, look at this beautiful town!"

The 56-year-old is attempting to walk - or "stomp", as he would say - 2,000 miles across the UK and Ireland.

Attempting to raise £250,000 for his charity, the SpeedoMick Foundation, his route has taken him from Stornoway on the Western Isles, through Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, and down to Ireland.

From there, he crossed into North Wales, to Cardiff, across the Severn, and then into the south West.

He arrived in Cornwall last week, reaching Truro on Friday (September 24) a "little later than planned".

After the more than 20 mile journey today to Lands End, the legendary fundraiser said he will rest for a few days, before stomping back to his hometown of Liverpool.
